The importance of structured driver training as a vital part of road safety in Ireland was recognised with the introduction in 2011 of the Essential Driver Training programme (EDT).
If you received your first learner permit on or after April 4th 2011 you MUST undergo a course of 12 EDT lessons with an Approved Driving Instructor before you can apply to take your practical driving test.
Since I started as an instructor in 2006 I’ve become renowned for the patient and good humoured manner which I conduct all my lessons, both beginner and pre test.
Learning to drive can be a daunting prospect for some, however you can be assured that your lessons will take place in an environment that is supportive and encouraging at all times.
